will i regret just rushing for one fraternity?

by: GM1

I really vibe with the guys in the fraternity that offered me a bid and honestly the only reason I feel unsure of going through with them is that they're still trying to improve their social scene. That's one of the biggest things for me that I want aside a great brotherhood and networking. Any advice?

You, as an individual, can help change the social scene. But you can't change the brothers or the networking. Those are important aspects. If you vibe well with them then go for it. You can meet whoever you want in the Greek community so long as you're outgoing.

Check out all the top houses, see what they're about and what you're looking for in a frat. If you want a party then sig pi (has the highest gpa) / Sae( crazy fun) / kap sig are probably the ones I'd recommend... Pikapp is really philanthropic and they do party... I wouldn't really recommend any others, maybe theta chi but I'd rather stick to the top 4.

Make the most of your rush. Not everything is as it seems. I was set on a certain fraternity and attended most of their events, up until the last day i got a bid from the one I ultimately stuck with. Best decision i ever made. Pick someone who is well rounded. You dont wanna spend your college years building a fraternity
