I think to really legitimize a selection the house should be located
in the proper zone....that is a Commercial zone where their letters
can be on the structure 24/7. ZBT is located in a residential area.
Long Beach has very strict rules governing fraternity housing. Sororities
are given a conditional use permit to be in a residential zone where NO
fraternity would be given such a permit.

I think that only those fraternities that own their houses should be
listed. Those who are renting for the most part are renting in areas
where they are not allowed to formally exist and cannot put up their
letters and are very transient and can move at any time. I may be mistaken
but someone "in the know" can correct me. but I think the following
fraternities own their houses: SAE, TEKE, PHI TAU, THETA CHI,
SIGMA PI, KAPPA SIGMA, DELTA CHI and I heard the Sigma Chi is back in their
old house.

Kappa Sig has a big ass dinosaur and a ton of rooms, Pike has a pool and one of the biggest houses, and Pi Kapp has a sick basement

Sigma Kappa is in Signal Hill. And Both SK and TriDelt don't even own their houses. They rent. I agree that the AOPI house is nice and big.
