who is rising?
by: IncomingI'm coming in from high school with a group of guys who are trying to rush a fraternity that isn't top but on the rise because we are trying to have some control in the direction of the frat. Who meets that description? from what I read so far it seems like Sig Chi, ZBT, Pi Kappa Alpha, Theta Chi

Sigma Chi and Theta Chi in my opinion are rising but they aren't top house. They are on their way though. If you are looking to make an impact and try to help a fraternity rise in the ranks then those houses are the ones to check out. Sigma Chi has a great alumni network and are considered wealthy and hard to get into (They are the Harvard of Fraternities) and Theta Chi are very good with sorority relations and community service. I also like TKE because their philanthropy is St. Jude. Other houses on campus are stagnate and won't move anytime soon. Good luck during rush OP!!!

Don't think you can come into any fraternity and take "control" right away. In every fraternity, you have to pay your dues money-wise and seniority often plays a HUGE role. So if you want to help a fraternity rise, that's great. But think twice if you think you and your posse can take control right away

If you guys are wanting to rush, I would recommend going out and meeting each of the fraternities to see which you best fit with.. This site is completely untrustworthy, so you should base a decision from this.. Basically every fraternity on here have negative reviews regardless of whether they are good or not. The only exception to this is sigma chi that receive positive reviews, all of which are self rankings from their members with nearly 20 thumbs on each comment from their other members to make them appear good whilst ranking others fraternities negatively.. So as I said, just go out and get a feel of what each is like, you may like top tiers, you may like bottom tiers

I agree Sig Chi and Theta Chi are on the rise. When I joined I looked up famous alumnae from each sorority and decided from there. A little advice: It doesn't matter if the house you join on campus is top or not. You want to join a fraternity that's good nationally. I think Greek Rank has posted the rankings for best fraternity and best sorority here's the link:
