Spring Rush 2021

Spring recruitment is done though COB not formal recruitment. Start following the instagrams of sororities you are interested in and pay attention to what the post during the beginning of spring semester. The recruitment events can be like an interview or a casual "mixer". Not sure if every sorority will recruit this spring

Seems like given the whole pandemic thing, that all the sororities should do recruitment and that it should be similar to how they did it in September.I think anyone who wants to go through recruitment in January should have all the sororities as an option and shouldn't have to go through the awkwardness of contacting individual sororities. Panhell should do that for the girls who want to join.

While it would be great to have all sororities participating, it isn't possible. Keep in mind that only chapters that are not at total can participate in informal recruitment.

Just to clarify on my previous post. You shouldn't have to dm the sorority and ask about joining. But the sororities participating in spring recruitment will post about it and most likely have a google sign up sheet. Only some of the sororities will participate and some may only have a couple spots so recruitment like the fall won't be possible. But, if you want to join a sorority I encourage you to try. This type of recruitment is not as stressful and a smaller time commitment than the fall.

I joined in the spring , and I loved having a smaller recruitment class and being able to participate in recruitment the next summer. This is a good way to get in to a great sisterhood.

It feels weird contacting sororities on Insta. As much as I want to join in January, I'm not going to do that. I wish just wait until next September as go through when I can do it with Panhellenic. I'm not going to send individuals an message and feel like an awkward stalker.
