It’s a personal choice. You put a lot of effort, time, commitment, and money into being in your sorority. Do you feel comfortable with dropping? I would think it over for a few days before making a decision. Personally I would stick it out and become an alum member.

If you don’t plan to be in an Alum member after graduation. I would say drop it’s a lot of money to pay if your on the fence.
Depending where you move after graduation there may not be any alum chapters for you to join. Alum chapters are not the same as active. At the end of day think it over. Make a pro and con list and decide.

I would make list of pros and cons before deciding to drop the sorority. if you don't have too many connections or friends in it than I would drop, but if you feel that you gained something out of the experience, have a few close sisters, and you see the benefits of being an alum such as networking, new friendships than I would stay.

Being thisclosetograduation can give one an overwhelming sense of needing to focus on schoolwork alone. Having already put 2 or 3 good years into your chapter has likely been rewarding but draining. It can't hurt to inquire if you might be allowed to take early alum status. You initiated into your chapter for life, and despite the ups and downs of membership you ought to respect your vows. Please don't quit when your longest and possibly most rewarding years within your sorority are ahead.

Please check and see if your group even offers an early alum status. Not all of the NPC sororities offer that as an option.
Otherwise I agree with everyone else that you should definitely make a pro/con list.

I can appreciate where you are at. Sorority life is hard to sustain for four years . Personally, I would stick it out and just become one of the more low-key members who doesn't really do much. Or, I would ask if I could go early alumni. Tell you chapter you have a full load of classes, have to work and go to school on Monday night and need to be granted early status.
