spring recruitment
by: boopcongrats to sororities and their new members! honestly, seeing everybody getting into sororities made me regret not rushing in the fall. buttt i was thinking that i could try in the spring! how is spring recruitment diff from fall? and which sororities will be participating?

Hi. Spring or informal recruitment at CSULB is definitely more relaxed. Also not all of the sororities will be participating. Chapters which are not at the set minimum total are eligible to participate in informal recruitment. You'll need to check out the social media for Long Beach State Panhellenic as well as the eight sororities to see which ones will be holding informal recruitment. Good luck to you!

When do I start reaching out to them? At the beginning of next semester when COB starts?

It actually starts right now! You can reach out to chapters to see if they have any open spots. Sororities are allowed to continue adding members until they reach campus total.

If you did not rush this fall or dropped early please and you are interested in still joining a sorority... Please reach out to the chapter through instagram Dm's. A lot of chapters still have open spots and looking for girls. :) It never hurts to try talking to some girls and see if a chapter is the right fit. Plus it is more relaxed and less intimidating than normal recruitment.
