Potential new members and no bids to a sorority

Unfortunately Yes. It’s not a common occurrence , but it does happen for different reasons .
The sororities can reach their quotas or don’t see a potential new member as a good fit for their house, but think they are a better candidate for another house. It just happens sometimes and it’s not that they didn’t like you as a person. For quota reasons, they may have wanted you, but reached their limit on how many bids they could extend.
You can also not be offered an bid to any house, If you leave terrible impression and are extremely rude to the women who are interviewing you from an sorority that you don’t like. Word gets around fast in the Panhellenic community. Just be respectful to everyone and you should be fine.
