important piece of advice for pnms

by:

1. Don’t feel obligated to continue with recruitment for a sorority you don’t like or feel comfortable with. It’s all about consent. Rho Gammas will encourage to stick it out until the end because in reality they need all the houses to meet quota for nationals.
2. Remember, you’re joining for sisterhood not looks. Drop out rates are commonly higher for girls who picked the latter due to not feeling like there’s actual friendships for what they’re paying for.
3. If finances are an issues it’s best recommend to wait until next Fall since going FSL is a huge financial investment.
Best of luck to all of you :)

I didn’t think Alpha Phi and G Phi would be as expensive as I thought compared to other houses. Probably best to wait another year :/

Hi Mai! Check out all eight sororities before you make your final decision. Your rho gamma will be able to guide you through the process, and show you each sorority. Each sorority will break down the finances/ payment plans with you. If you feel you need to wait on joining FSL it’s really no rush. you can always go through recruitment again next year.
