Fraternity pledges live in the Dorms---After their first year they
can then move into other housing. I think Sigma Pi probably sleeps the
most members in their house plus their aux. house next door--around 20 =
22 members. The other fraternities sleep much lower numbers.
#4by: Greek life at csulb
Hello!
At csulb we have a large Greek life here.
We have eight national Panhellenic conference sororities which include alpha omicron pi , alpha phi, delta delta delta, delta gamma, delta zeta, gamma phi beta, sigma kappa, and zeta tau alpha.
For ifc fraternities
We have the fraternities delta chi , delta lambda phi , phi kappa alpha, phi gamma delta, phi kappa pi, phi kappa psi, phi kappa tau, sigma pi, tau kappa epsilon , theta chi, and zeta beta tau.
We also have several of the divine nine organizations on campus which are the black fraternal organizations .we have a few multicultural sororities and fraternities here. One Christian sorority and fraternity. We also have two coed service fraternities on campus and one coed business fraternity.
Long Beach is a urban campus. We are close to Belmont shore and Orange County . We are only an hour away from Los Angeles, ca.
Most students here are commuters. Students who dorm live at either parkside dorms (mostly freshman), hillside dorms, or beachside dorms which are the off campus dorms. Other students live in apartments off campus with friends.
For Greek students here. Not everyone lives in the houses because they can only hold a limited number of members. We have houses for the national Panhellenic conference sororities and the ifc fraternities spread all throughout long beach. Unfortunately , We do not have a Greek row here for sororities and fraternities.
Hazing is wrong, illegal, and not allowed on this campus. National Panhellenic conference sororities do not haze their members and are at risk becoming suspended as an organization if it does occur. IFC fraternities and Panhellenic sororities are held under strict rules to prevent it.

“Not allowed” but who’s gonna stop some of the IFC fraternities? Personally, I know all the fraternities that haze, it’s just tradition and I do believe it’s wrong and needs to be stopped, but the chances of that happening is very slim.
