Re: By . Well Joining a sorority is like taking an extra class . Meaning It really depends on the hours per week and what’s going on that week . It’s definitely a time commitment , but an enjoyable experience for most. As a new member You will have socials with fraternities, philantrophy events, sisterhood events, grab a dates throughout the month. Plus usually weekly meetings with your chapter. As far as Academics go, you have to maintain a certain minimum gpa to stay in. Many sororities have initiations at different times. You are usually not immediately initiated. You will also have a sorority big which is ur big sister in the organization. Spring irecruitment is more laid back to join than the fall where it’s so many girls going through recruitment.
