sorority transfer

Welcome to a really great school with a fantastic Greek system. There are LOADS of juniors who go through rush. I was one of them. I got my first choice house, and being a junior didn't hurt me at all. All of the sororities have great sisterhoods, and active social calendars. Rather you go through formal recruitment or COB, you will probably find a sorority that works for you. Best wishes in the process.

Being a junior is not a problem at all. There were rumors that Delta Gamma doesn't want juniors, so I dropped them myself the first day, cause I wanted to focus on sororities that wanted me (they weren't really a fit for me anyway). I later found out that they take juniors too. Needless to say, I found a great sorority that was a fit for me, and if being a junior was a problem, I didn't feel it at all. This school is a lot more eclectic than schools like Chapman or Pepperdine. We have a cool mix of people here.

I rushed as a junior and found the right sorority for me . I was a transfer student from a community college. You should be able to receive a bid . Just trust the process. Good luck !

Yes to everything above! I was also a junior transfer ad worried about the leadership aspect because I really wanted to have a position but wasn’t sure if I was too “old” to make the cut. I ended up serving on Exec board for my senior year and loved every minute of the process!

I joined as a senior . You should be okay as a junior. Lots of upperclassmen join sororities not just freshmen.
