open bidding = bottom house

That isn't what COB means. I got a top house and I COBed in the spring. Also those aren't bottom houses (no, I'm not in any of those three sororities).

I COBd with Aphi and GPhiB had COB last semester, it doesn’t mean bottom houses lol

Doesn't COB mean you can issue bids until you reach TOTAL---doesn't
have anything to do with status----or Rush quota---has to do with
amount of Seniors who graduated--actives who dropped, etc---Any sorority can pick up girls to reach the total that Panhellenic sets
for the sorority system.....doesn't have anything to do with status...

Amen!!! I got my spot in a top house, cause someone moved up North to be with her boyfriend and they had an opening.

If they were desperate and took anyone, they wouldn’t need to COB. If anything, not hitting total just means they’re more selective.
