cops
by: .They need a Greek row. I’m sick of going to these parties and having the cops called at 11pm. Csulb needs to step up already. It would help take the commuter school persona off them as well

You must be new to CSULB lol. We used to have a Greek Row and I believe Delta Zeta is the last to have their original house on Greek Row. There was too many conflicts between the fraternities so now there’s a law in Long Beach that prohibits any Greek houses to be within a one mile radius of each other. Not CSULB’s fault, but rather, past chapters and the authority of the city.

There has never been a Greek Row. Fraternities and Sororities have
always been spread across the city. Sororities are allowed in
residential areas but have to have a conditional use permit. Fraternities are only allowed in Commercial zones. NO FRATERTNITY
has ever had a conditional use permit---the City won't approve it.
Delta Zeta is the only sorority of the original sororities to purchase
a house that is still in their original house. The others have all
changed thru the years.
