IMO all sororities are looking for PNMs (potential new members) that are articulate, friendly, high achieving, and hard working.

Look at the chapters' social media to get an idea of their activities, awards, and charity work to see if it fits your personality. Good luck.

At CSULB GPA isn't a big focus, and it isn't because we aren't academic. We are actually very academic and focused on learning and growing, but we know that GPA is about pleasing a professor, and jumping through hoops, and that is NOT authentic learning.

so true. I had a 4.3 in high school and barely learned a thing, because I just told my teachers everything they wanted to hear. Now I'm getting mostly Bs, but learning so much more than I did in high school. Also, your major really does impact your GPA. People in Communications get all As, but it is a joke of a major.
