spring recruitment
by: pnmDo you know what sororities are participating in spring rush this year? Also, how does the process work? I talked to some girls at tabling last week but all we did was talk. How can I get into one of the chapters that I felt like I clicked with?

Check out the social media for each chapter to see if they're holding spring recruitment. The chapters will post their events. Last year these chapters participated in spring recruitment: Alpha Omicron Pi, Alpha Phi, Delta Delta Delta, Sigma Kappa, and Zeta Tau Alpha. Again please check the social media for each chapter to be sure that they're recruiting. Good Luck.

I believe that all the sororities are doing some sort of quiet spring COB. Some sororities sort of do it on the down low, cause they have their people picked out already.

They probably only have a couple of opening and they are probably already filled. It doesn't mean they don't like you, it just means that they don't have room right now. If those are the houses you really want then, wait until September. But honestly, I would just join a house now. DZ and Gamma Phi are really hard to get into, and you could end up getting cut by them in September, even if they like you.

There is no guarantee that you will get GPhiB or DZ in the fall. DG is pretty easy to get into but they are expensive and not worth the money. If you want to see all eight sororities then you should wait for the fall. But most people get dropped by Alpha Phi, Gamma Phi and DZ. Even if you click with them, they only have so many spots.
