why is it harder?

For some people they aren't hard to get into. They have a random group of women and a lot of women do get cut from them. They cut some gorgeous women, and then let some not so hot women into their house. It confuses a lot of people because they aren't predictable. However you look at it, DZ pretty much gets who they want, and drops who they don't want. It is just hard to figure out what they want. I would say that if you looked at recruitment numbers they are the second hardest house to get into. Alpha Phi is still number one.

Delta Zeta is a very popular pick during rush, so they drop a lot of people. If you like them, give it a try. You could get in. You never know who they will choose. I think they throw applications in the air, and then step on sixty pieces of paper, and that is who gets in and everyone else gets cut.

It's a numbers game that changes year to year. Just go through rush and see where you feel comfortable. There are 8 really good sororities. DZ is great, but so are the other 7.

I've never seen the rush numbers, but I believe Alpha Phi is still the hardest sorority to get into, which means they have the highest return rates. I believe that Delta Zeta and Gamma Phi Beta go back and fourth for number 2 and 3. A lot of DZ girls have something cool about them, but really all the sororities have awesome girls. Just go through rush and you will probably find a good home.
