high school junior

I'm a junior looking to apply to CSULB next year. My sister is at a PAC 12 school and is having a great greek life experience. They have huge houses for the frats and sororitys. What is greek like at CSULB? What are the best houses?

Greek life here is low key compared to the Pac 12 schools. No Greek row or university owned housing for Greeks. The university has not had a Greek advisor since 2015. Still you can find a place with one of the Panhellenic, Pan Hellenic or Multi Cultural groups. Check the social media accounts to get an idea of the activities. Good luck!

You can check and see if your sister's sorority has a chapter here too. Panhellenic sororities are: AOPi, Alpha Phi, Tri Delta, Delta Gamma, Delta Zeta, Gamma Phi Beta, Sigma Kappa and ZTA. Pan Hellenic: AKA, Delta Sigma Theta.

Greek life here sucks. Go to a Pac 12 school because it's nothing compared to here. Greek life at Long Beach is basically a hub of people that just hang out.

Yeah Long Beach is more of a commuter school and everyone is from the area so it’s like high school 2.0 where everyone knows everyone and everyone knows your business
