rushing as a junior

I wanted to rush the past couple years but have been sick or working during each chance. Im making sure I can take it off next year, but is it even worth it? Ill be a junior next year, would any houses even take me? What houses would even consider it? Ive been super involved with other clubs and volunteering and working but will any sororities care?

Yes you still have a chance at being recruited as a junior at CSULB. If you have any Greeks in your classes, try and get to know them if you can as these relationships can be helpful during recruitment. Good Luck!

I went through Rush as a junior and I didn't get dropped by any of the houses. I got my first choice. I have heard that Alpha Phi drops juniors, but then again I know a few people in Alpha Phi that pledged as juniors. I dropped them the first day, because I didn't want to waste my time with a sorority that was going to drop me the second day, because I was a junior. They are the only sorority that is known to discriminate against juniors, and it might not even be true that they do.

New York posts says that Lookism is 73% of getting a job. I think in rush it is about 93%. So what house you get will mostly have to do with your looks not your year in college.

Loads of Juniors go through rush. We even have 23 years olds go through.It's just not a big deal.
