Most groups are looking at the following in no particular order:
1. GPA
2. Activities-Are you going to be someone who gets involved and still can maintain your grades?
3. Year in school-Yes freshman and sophomores have an advantage over juniors and seniors. Some groups limit the number of upper classmen they can take during recruitment.
4. Legacies-Are you a legacy to one of the chapters? It can impact if you will receive a bid or not.
5. Personality/Conversation skills-First impressions do make a difference as you only have a limited amount of time with each house.
6. History with group members-Do you know them from high school, work, teams, another college, classes, dorms etc...? How did you get along with the members?
