help!
by: ?I'm going through rush and I was only invited back to AOPi, which I find extremely shocking. I am attractive (I model, I was accepted into BeautifulPeople.com) and I felt I really connected with all of the girls I spoke with yesterday. I discussed my passion for Psychology and the fact that I Co-founded my own business with my brother. I'm a Junior transfer student, so perhaps that did not work in my favor. What went wrong? Should I even bother continuing the recruitment process?

Sorry that this was your experience as a junior, but I would say continue with recruitment. Talk to your Rho Gamma. AOPi is an excellent organization, strong alumnae support and good sisterhood. If one is offered, I would say to consider accepting a bid. Use the weeks to get to know the women and the other new members. Take the time to see how you feel about it then. If you still are unsure then drop before initiation. If you are initiated into one National Panhellenic Group, you can never join another one.
Good luck!

First Welcome to CSULB! It's a hard school to get into so congratulations! Next talk to your Rho Gamma. I agree with the other response continue with the recruitment to learn as much as you can and drop before initiation if it doesn't feel right. Otherwise, you can try again in the spring. Not sure if all sororities will do spring recruitment. CSULB is a very welcoming campus and you will still enjoy being here. Good Luck!
