#1 piece of advice for girls rushing

Take note of how sororities treat OTHER sororities. It's next to impossible to judge a sororities sisterhood from the outside because during recruitment seasons they all put on their happy faces and cover up any drama within their chapter. However, girls who are friendly towards other sororities and have friends in other organizations are likely to be genuinely nice people. I'm not saying you gotta have friends outside of your organization during to be a good person, I'm just saying it's a clever way of noticing who's putting on a fake show. This applies to every house on campus.

This can be really important. If, during the recruitment process, you hear a girl (active or PNM) complete talk crap on another organization, that has a lot to say about thier character and moral values
