2024 Sorority Rush Guide for Incoming Freshman

First three are considered top by most. You get essentially the same experience in the top five though in terms of the frats you have exchanges with and the stuff you do. You can have a great experience and can get whatever you personally want out of any sorority on campus if you decide to rush!
Alpha Phi - Generally considered number one at poly, hot, fun girls, super sweet, great sisterhood, big drinkers, more blonde.
Alpha Chi Omega - Also hot girls, kind of a more sporty/loud energy, also big drinkers and party a lot, super fun and sweet, great sisterhood.
Sigma Kappa - They also have hot girls, generally on the more edgy/trendy side, also a lot of drinking and partying, funny, fun girls, great sisterhood.
Alpha Omicron Pi - Super sweet and friendly girls, also hot and fun, definitely party a lot, a great connected sisterhood.
Gamma Phi Beta - Great girls, funny and pretty, a little bit more on the quirky side, there are def some religious girls and some granola type girls in GPhi if that’s your thing, they know how to turn up and have a great sisterhood.
Sort of a gap unfortunately after GPhi in terms of frats you hangout with and privileges you get.
Kappa Kappa Gamma - Sweet funny girls, maybe a bit disconnected, they know how to have a good time, good sisterhood.
Delta Gamma - Seem to be nice girls, don’t know much about their sisterhood, maybe someone can fill in these gaps in the responses, generally know how to have fun.
Chi Omega - Seem to be nice girls, generally know how to have fun, don’t know much about their sisterhood.
Kappa Alpha Theta - Don’t know much about their sisterhood and what they do, seem to be sweet girls.

the rank is pretty accurate but i feel like saying there’s a gap in privileges is so dumb. the ONLY difference btwn sororities is the exchanges u have. and that doesn’t even matter bc u just need to be a girl to go to parties so if u wanna go to dchi or whatever u will have a million chances all thru the quarter. join the sorority u click w best bc the main benefits are the friends and events u will have, such as sisterhoods, and those depend on the vibe not the ranking.

let’s be real though, exchanges are probably the biggest perk of being in a sorority. obviously frat relations aren’t everything but it’s way more fun talking to people and meeting guys at a closed party than swimming in a 1:1000 girl to guy ratio at a normal frat party. the hard truth is that every sorority below gphi is at a disadvantage in the party aspect of greek life.

Everything about sororities on Greek Rank is written by same Sigma Kappa alum who can’t let it go. These ranks with SK on top are just not accurate (which is nearly every single one). There’s literally no one else here but lambda and SK.
Tiers tend to be better than a rank because there is so much variety in every house and a tier kind of reflects that but anything else just isn’t accurate.

Your post reads like a jealous troll who either doesn’t go to CP or isn’t in your 1st choice house here. Stay off GR and let the PNMs decide for themselves. There are lots of great choices and being negative doesn’t move anyone forward

Greek life is not as intense at cal poly as it is at other schools. Girls from all sororities are friends with each other and you can get into literally any party you want. Just go where your heart goes and you will end up in the perfect place! At the end of the day no one here actually cares that much about what sorority you are in.
