Worried I didn’t make a good impression with #1 frat
by: RUSHEEHi I have rushed 4 houses. Lambda Chi, Delta Chi, Delta Upsilon and Sigma Nu. I think I really made a good impression on Delta Chi, Delta Upsilon and Sigma Nu who all invited me to their next function. The fraternity I really want to join though is Lambda Chi but they didn’t engage me much and I never got an official invite to their next function. Does anyone know if I can just show up to their next event or do you have to be officially invited?. Also If for some reason Lambda doesn’t give me bid which of Sigma Nu, Delta Chi and Delta Upsilon has the best reputation?

Lambda is #1 for a reason. They are the most selective. I am sure all parties are still open to everyone and the Invite only gatherings are not until this weekend. I am a little sister at Lambda and I know they have hundreds of people pass though the house just chat several of them up at their next function. If you don’t get a bid from Lambda I would go with DU if they give you a bid, they are the fastest rising fraternity and most top sororities consider them #2 behind Lambda. TBH Delta Chi used to be a top house but their rep has been dropping and DU moved ahead of them. Sigma Nu is up and down and most would put them behind Sig Pi

I am going through rush also. I am rushing Lambda Chi, Delta Chi, Delta Upsilon and Sigma Nu. These are my impressions and rank of each.
#1 Lambda Chi. They are definitely the “cool guys” table and probably the #1 choice of 99% of rushers.
#2 Delta Upsilon, nice guys and a nice purpose built house.
#3 Delta Chi/Sigma Nu a toss Up both have a mix of nice guys and also I met several dudes in both that I wonder how did you ever get a bid. Definitely not as cool as Lambda or DU. I am keeping my fingers crossed that I get an invite from Lambda, if I get passed on Delta Upsilon would be a good landing spot. If I don’t get a bid from Roth and only get a bid from Delta Chi or Sigma Nu I will have to seriously consider If want to join

You have to be really really good looking for Lambda to give you a bid. That’s why they look like they jumped out of GQ. On the other hand if you have a dad bod or just playin overweight but a funny personality check out Delta Chi, Sigma Nu or Phi Psi .
