Official 2021 Fall Sorority Rank

1. Alpha Phi- two KNOCKOUT classes have helped erase the blunder that was pc 18. Join them for a good time, lots of clout on campus, to mix w top frats, and tons of cute insta post opportunities. Only knock is that they are kind of problematic but it’s Cal Poly so nobody cares about that and they still get the top girls year after year.
2. AXO- some will say that AXO and Aphi are tied or that AXO is better. I think it does come down to personal taste. This is a sorority full of girls who were popular in high school. Similar to Aphi, but more of a bubbly and (fake) sweet persona. The least wild of the top 3, but still has tons of parties. Overall you’ll have a great time in AXO if you can get a bid.
3. SK- Arguably the coolest of the bunch. Again, some do say SK/AXO/Aphi are all tied, and it is generally a personal preference but I will say SK is definitely #3. They are known for being more fun, edgy, and artsy than AXO/Aphi which are definitely leaning into the trendy/girly vibe more. This is a house for girls who are hot and like to party, but think they’re a lil more edgy.

The top 3 is undisputed. However now we get dicey.

4/5. Gphi/AOII
This is controversial, but I truly think they are tied and the next year or two will determine how things shake out. Gphi has historically been on par with the top 3, and as recent or 18/19 some girls were choosing it over aphi/sk. However, AOII has been moving up and giving them a run for their money. Both houses are for girls who wanted the top 3 and didn’t rush well. Gphi name is much cooler on campus, and they seem to be attempting to appeal to the woke/edgy/artsy/nature girls but they FUMBLED pc 20. AOII is truly a mixed bag, and it’s hard to comment on them besides rushing “cute” girls and being put together.


6. DG
DG is a relatively new house on campus but having a house and a strong national rep has helped them. They are known for being more laid back and a fun/wild group of girls. I think they have the potential to get on par with Gphi/AOII.
7. XO
Chi O is by far the wokest sorority on campus. If you are a POC or queer and want to go greek I would highly suggest considering XO. They do the most out of all the houses in terms of DEI initiatives. They’re known on campus as being smart and liberal, which does translate to cool at Cal Poly. I think their appeal will only increase if they continue down this path. Probably the future of sorority life will be more inclusive chapters like there’s.


8. KKG
Kappa is a very laid back house, that recruits a mixed bag of girls who were happy not to go Theta. This will be a very chill sorority experience, and people do really enjoy it.

9. Theta
You don’t choose Theta, you have a bad rush and everyone drops you. If you join them do it for the sisterhood. Frats won’t be nice to you and there’s no clout on campus for it. Ya
