What happened with Chi O?
by: curiousWhy didn't they rush this year? Heard it was something to do with nationals.

Their recruitment video is on youtube. They were very genuine, and talked directly into the camera. Just because they werent running through a field pretending to be someone they are not. I learned the hard way and pledged one of those last year. If I had it to do all over again, I would have taken a good look at them instead of the fake one I joined. What you see in their video is what you get. Any girl lucky enough to get a bid from them won't be sorry. I wish I could have done it over again.

The majority of the house as well as nationals really wanted to be more inclusive. Some incoming seniors did not. That's too bad because that's the way the world is now. Also some just had enough and wanted to chill their senior year. Compared to other sororities who loose pledge class members and freshman their first year, i say if they want to leave as seniors they had a good run, but weren't "ready" to be as inclusive and most and nationals wanted

The person who created this post is also the one posting as "confused". She left and tried to take others with her simply because nationals wanted to start their diversity/inclusion program in the Fall. The creator of this post aka "confused" did not want to do that. She is graduating in June and does not speak for the majority in Chi O who are ready for and really want the inclusion. She wanted to "wait till spring" simply because it will be her last sememster and would not have to deal with anythings. She had a fantastic run w the sorority but felt that she was in charge now and nationals coming in threatened her. The sorority is thriving despite the current health situation and these girls are actually taking both diversity and the current health situation very seriously. Despite in person classes many Chi O's are still very involved with campus activities and their sister hood is stronger than ever. Alot of us know who "confused" is. She would be wise to delete this all together before someone does call her out.

They didn't HAVE to step in. They chose to. Did you rush this year online? That's not exactly easy to do. You write as if no other sorority or fraternity has had national support. They will probably end up with the best PC because they were smart enough to know that this is new territory and since they have the strongest and largest national support, they will be just fine.
