DU tosses low....

it’s ridiculous

For those Freshman new to CP, here is a little background on Delta Upsilon DU. Not too long ago DU was on its last legs and considered bottom of the bottom tier. DU is the oldest fraternity at CP and had a long long history for being #1. After multiple probations they lost many of their members but their Alumni who are the richest of all CP alumni, wealthier than all the other sororities and fraternities combined decided they didn’t want to see the oldest once grandest Greek organization to weather away so they got their alumni together to raise money for Cal Poly’s first purpose built fraternity mansion where members would live under one roof. Delta Upsilon became the ONLY REAL fraternity as they lived as a family under one roof in their gigantic new state of the art fraternity mansion. By comparison ALL other fraternities were just social clubs who got together while living apart once a month in their rented apartments or tract homes.
ALL the other fraternities that were above DU which was basically ALL on them were now seeing DU getting first pick of the best rushers and EVERY OTHER house except perhaps Lambda were now fighting over the rejects of Delta Upsilon.
Fraternities like Sigma Nu, Delta Chi, Phi Kappa Psi, AEPI, Kappa Sig, DTD, Sig Pi and all the others were now seeing the rushers that they were targeting for membership now instead choosing Delta Upsilon and hoping to maybe bid one of their better rejects.
ALL the negative comments are from fraternities (really social clubs) that are now jealous of the DOMINATION of DU over them.
We encourage rushers to check out DU but now as one of the most prestigious fraternities we are also the MOST SELECTIVE. If you don’t make the cut at DU or Lambda then you might be relegated to join a lower tier social club like SN,DX,Phi Psi, AEPI,KS or one of the many other fraternities DESPERATE for membership.
Right now Delta Upsilon and Lambda Chi are the ONLY fraternities considered top tier and the ONLY fraternities that are selective. ALL other fraternities you can pretty join at your pleasure as they are DESPERATE for membership.

Being a 4th year member of the top sorority at CP I can honestly say I saw the rise of Delta Upsilon DU, and one of the OP was right that they blew past all those fraternities and are considered just behind #1 Lambda, DU definitely is #2 in rank then Delta Chi at #3 and Sigma Nu at #4

wow LOOK at all the jealous fraternities that upvoted this FAKE news. Guess its hurts when you have been jumped over in rank by someone that USED to be ranked below you and now IS THE TOP HOUSE.
