Congratulations to ΑΧΩ and ΛΧΑ for being at the top of polls for first choice of sororities and fraternities of potential
Rushees. 57% of girls signed up for rush listed ΑΧΩ as their first choice or goal 87% of guys listed ΛΧΑ as their first choice or goal.
Because both also happened to be the most selective be sure to have other options or backups so you are not left out in the cold.

Fact is MOST people will not get a bid from their first choice of fraternities or sororities not only here at Cal Poly but on every campus with a Greek System. Of course everyone wants to be in a prestigious house like AXO or LXA but there are lots of other well respected fraternities and sororities that will be a better fit where you will make lifetime connections.

Life isn't a social and there are a lot of great houses out there. Besides, Greek Life here is small so bigger fish in a smaller pond isn't something to brag about one's self anointed coolness.
Try getting into a top house in the Big 10, SEC or ACC. Let's not make it so others that didn't get in don't feel bad. Because one house isn't better than another and one city or State is not better than another. Just different and a different fit.

If you got everything going for you, looks, personality, grades definitely aim high and go for the best
