how's dg doing?
by: MIkaelaHi! I'm a senior in high school (just applied to cal poly it's my top choice!!!). I'm a legacy and have always wanted to be a delta gamma. I know they're new to CP though so what's their rep here?

They're not like one type of girl if thats what you're looking for. DG's got a lot of senders; some super hot some not so much but all the ones I've met are really fun. See if you get along with them in recruitment! Or reach out to some girls you might know here see what they tell you.
Advice for rushing in general: don't just go by what you see in recruitment because all that is pretty unrealistic of what sorority life is like. Check out some cal poly sorority girls' IGs see if you think you could vibe with them, talk to someone who's gone to CP, go into recruitment with an open mind and don't stick to greekrank's opinions most of these comment are people with nothing better to do! You'll find a home wherever you get a bid from :) Good luck with your apps!

They're the sweetest girls I've met so far! Really accepting of PC '18, and they're growing so fast for being so new probably because they've gained a pretty positive reputation. I went through recruitment this past year and I would say that the most important thing is that you go in with an open mind, and you're going to hear this a million times: TRUST THE PROCESS! it gets absolutely crazy and can be pretty emotional when you get dropped by houses but just know that it is so not personal! You'll get an impression for different sororities, but all girls can be different, and a pledge class can change a sororities' reputation completely within a year. Sorority life is such an amazing experience, especially when you start getting close with your sisters! I would try to go into the process with as little information as possible about rankings, because a name's reputation can sometimes get in the way of really getting to know the girls, especially at the first events when you have so little time with the actives at each house to really see if you like them or not.
You'll have so much fun going through the process, and even though it might not seem like it in the beginning you really will end up where you belong. I hope you get into cal poly, its such a great school!!
