does legacy matter for sororities?

I honestly think it depends. I only know how my own house works and from listening to stories from my friends, but I hear it can range from being nearly guaranteed a spot at pref to it only getting you like one extra day at recruitment (ex: my friend I rushed with got dropped from a top house after two rounds even though her mom had literally been part of the founding class of that chapter here at Poly).
I realize this isn't a really solid answer lol but I guess my advice would be to for sure fill out any legacy paperwork because either way it can't hurt you
