Hey everyone I was curious if I could email the Vice President of Membership Recruitment of a sorority to ask them questions about recruitment and if they are doing informal recruitment. And wondering if that would be allowed?

Go for it, do whatever you want to do. As a recruitment leader they should be open to answering questions from anyone curious about the process.
