This is a very mediocre house, a lot of the girls are just blah about volunteering or attending social events. Also while out partying it is sometimes a little shocking seeing how they are behaving themselves. Go through rush and see if its your style though.

its really mean to try putting other houses down just because yours isnt good enough. leave us alone, we have gone through enough problems with social probation this year and we are doing as much as we can to get better standings.

although we may not have the best sisterhood or close group of girls on campus, it doesnt mean that everyone should be mean to us. Ya we have some gorgeous girls and a lot of people like us but dont try to put other houses down just because you didnt get a bid. thanks!

although these girls are very smart and dedicated, i wouldn't say they are "popular". they always seemed to be very classy, however their lipsync performance was HIGHLY inappropriate and that really disappointed me.

i have enjoyed getting to know the girls of chi omega. they seem dedicated, but i wouldn't say they are very popular at cal poly. not at the top or not at the bottom but well-liked by many.

it is horrible to make assumptions that all or most girls are "hippies" or stick skinny. that may be true for a handful of girls in gamma phi as well as ANY OTHER sorority at cal poly.

These ratings overall are very biased and rated by girls in the sororities themselves. G phi A phi and Sig Kap are pretty much all 3 equally great. I know g phi is not forced by their president... so whoever wrote that is backwards. As far as drama, probably the least dramatic group of girls I know and as far as hippies, REALLY? hahah that's funny. If hippy means laid back and easy going then yeah. THis house has a great variety of girls. Personality is what really defines g phi, not looks. But really...there is really no bad sorority at CP every girl rushing will find the right place to be and 90% of the time its a perfect fit

these girls are NOT a top house, probably lowest house. They think they are the best and therefore are just rude. They are involved in philanthropies though.

Although this house is well known on campus, they do have a big dropping rate. this is due to all the political issues within their sorority as well as Panhellenic. Just go through recruitment open minded and see if theyre worth it.
