2)Delta Tau Delta, Lambda Chi (Delt is slightly ahead)

Honestly every house has its strong and weak points There really isn't a true top house here at butler.

Delt- Well-rounded jocks who can come off as douchebags to many. These guys strive to have the biggest presence on campus. Brotherhood isn't very strong and most of them play the popularity game.

Snu- Known as the classy guys and being a bit exclusive and isolating themselves from the rest. While most are real gentlemen, some are just arrogant losers. This house can also get very cliquey, but they still maintain a respectable brotherhood.

Sig Chi- Similar to phi psi except much more laid back and easy going. A big range of different guys here, but still a very strong brotherhood. Used to be a house full of party raging idiots, but now its a mix between well-rounded men and party animals.

Phi Psi- A bunch of preppy guys who know when its time to rage or keep it classy. Very strong brotherhood here. Most of the guys are very down to earth, but some of the newer guys are huge douchebags that try too hard.

Lambda- Many rush here because they just want a group of guys to chill out with. Brotherhood is strong but they don't really excel in anything as a group. Some guys are weird and others are there just because they didn't get a bid anywhere else.

Phi delt- A house that prides themselves as being the smartest guys and having the nicest house on campus. They have had a very long stereotype of being the only dry house even though some guys do party.

These are SOCIAL fraternities. If you were at IU and tried to claim you were the best house based on being the most involved and having the highest gpa you would be the biggest geed.

The top four - SNU, Delt, Sig Chi, Phi Psi

Honestly, as long as you end up in one of the top four houses, you'll have a blast with great guys and meet plenty of girls.

SNu and delt are both pretty exclusive and generally disregard anybody except their own brothers and sorority girls.

Sig Chi and Phi Psi are definitely the top party houses although phi psi has recently been going down since they keep losing guys to other houses.

Lambda is an okay house with solid guys and are moving up based on their numbers in recent pledge classes but they're just average at everything and aren't really known for much. Things could change though if phi psi keeps slipping down...

Phi delt will forever be the bottom house until they change their dry house policy.
