Alpha phi sitch?

IMO on an individual level they are fine. But their sisterhood is known for being pretty bad and it seems like they prioritize keeping up a certain image over member experience. Aphis often tell their friends in other houses that they are unhappy there. It used to be a good house but has been falling for a few years now because PNMs are starting to pick up on this.

They’re essentially the Delts of Sororities - they care all too much about what people think of them and how they appear to the school and public rather than working on themselves and their sisterhood. They’re just a lot faker on social media than they are in person

The truth is that their nationals forces their recruitment team to rank potential new members based on their looks. They also have to rank their in-house sisters on looks and pair their best-looking girls with the best looking girls rushing. This basically creates fake relationship premises. So their sisterhood is pretty shallow. As others have said - individual members are fine. But joining alpha phi means you care a lot about what other people think of you, point blank. All the sororities party here. All of them are smart. All of them have good leadership opportunities. Only one thinks it’s a good idea in 2021 to assign people scores on their faces.
