advice for rush

Some advice for girls going through rush next week.
- Get off this website. It is solely sororities bashing other sororities anonymously.
- Keep an open mind. Most of us want certain houses going into rush, but anything can happen and everybody is going to get dropped at some point.
- Don’t follow what your friend group does. By joining a new house, you expand your social circle and are exposed to tons of new people. Your freshmen friends will always be around for formals, friendship dinners, spring break trips, senior houses
- Real recognizes real. In some cases later on in the week you will be paired with girls from the same hometown/major/etc to make conversation less awkward. While you may seem similar, always look around the room and see if you fit in with not just this girl but others too.
- Especially on pref night, do not focus on who talked to you, but focus on the other freshmen in the room and see if you can get picture yourself with them.
