Go Greek

Competitive, prominent, involved, fun. Not too much or too little of each. The type of student who comes to Butler is generally pretty balanced and the Greek experience is a perfect supplement for that student. Want huge raging parties? Go to a Big 10 or SEC school. Want tons of philanthropy and volunteering? Go to a small liberal arts school. Want a place to chill that doesn't hold you accountable to service, academics, and paying your dues? Go to a mediocre state school (Ball State, Illinois State, etc.). Butler Greek life is the real deal for a balanced student who likes to work hard and play hard and wants the most out of life. As a graduated Butler Greek, I would love to go back and do it all over again.

Butler has a huge Greek population and they run a lot of organizations on campus. Go Greek for another experience at butler. The Greek life is what separates it from Xavier and other big east schools.

Butler Population is 50% Greek and they run about every major organization on campus. One of the first questions you get asked is what house are you, Greek life is that popular. Even professors tend to figure out what house each student is in without wearing letters. Butler Greek life is huge on philanthropy and strives to set and destroy records with many chapters scoring in the top 10 nationally.
