It is a common misconception that Phi Delt is a dry house. The chapter house itself is a dry facility. The guys in the house though, are not dry. These guys throw plenty of parties at their senior houses and know how to have a good time.

If these guys were not a dry house, they would be competing as one of the top houses. Instead they are sadly a bottom tier house to the public since they cannot throw parties and offer the same social atmosphere that the other houses do. This also hurts their recruitment as they get the leftover freshmen that don't get into other houses like Delt and SNu. They do have the highest GPA and look like the best house involved on campus, but socially they are the lowest at Butler.

Great comback after some problems about a decade ago. It was a gutsy move to establish themselves as an alcohal-free fraternity house. Seems to be working well.

Phi Delt does not get enough credit. Yes, they are a dry house, but that does not mean they don't have fun. Some of the best house parties I have been to were Phi Delt house parties. As a whole, they have some of the most genuinely nice guys I have met on this campus. There are definitely some guys that don't like to go out who are still fantastic, but they also have some really awesome guys that like to have fun.

probably 1/4 of these guys are cool...but if you like to study on the weekends rush here! highest gpa and represents the academic aspect of college. but how many new freshmen (or your regular college kid) wants to be hitting the books on the weekend? yeah yeah they have a few senior houses, but that's nothing like partying in a frat. rush here if you're looking to have some dry fun! if you're trying to see the real social aspect of college, i'd look elsewhere...

Very nice, fun, and smart guys! My only qualm is that they can get snooty to other frats.

I have no idea why everyone is always hating on Phi Delts. Just because they are dry, doesn't mean they are strange or don't have fun. The house is full of real nice guys and a bunch of hidden gems, and they have a very strong brotherhood. Leave Phi Delts alone and get a life.

Some oddballs, but generally nice guys that like to have a good time whether it's a senior house party or just hanging out on their roof. They sure do know how to treat a lady right!

Phi Delts are like a pillow. You'd rather have the cold side(normal, fun, outgoing brothers), but somehow you're always exposed to the other side which makes you angry. Love the bros that know how to live life - study, party, enjoy friends, be spontaneous. But a lot of them are simply boring losers. Seriously, it's one thing to be academically motivated, but to stay in a study 24/7...not the real college experience. House is getting better every year.
