Some people make it clear that they are from other houses. This chapter seems full of so many nice, smart, and involved girls. I think that the girls I met from phi were the most welcoming and genuine. While no sorority is perfect, Phi is a great house and I know a lot of people that are super happy there.

Nice house and nice girls, but they are very in-your-face about it. They are cliquey and do not put forth much of an effort to be involved with other sororities, unless it is to backtalk. They very much see themselves as the best house on campus, but they forget that this is BUTLER, not IU. As a result they have their noses up in the air a lot. The new pledge class seems nice, so hopefully they can turn things around a bit.

Many people on campus have a stigma against Thetas because of the current seniors. However, they are leaving (thank goodness). The three pledge classes below them are fantastic. Sure, there are a couple of bad apples, but there are in EVERY sorority. There are quirky girls, relaxed girls, all-American girls, etc. In spite of there being a good mix, they are all close and passionate about Theta AND Butler. Also, they are one of the only houses on campus to not rail on other houses, which is nice.

(tri deltas)? um. they aren't "weird girls". they definitely have a few oddballs but people seem to ignore how a majority of them are great, pretty, and down-to-earth. just because they are not your stereotypical sorority does not make them weird. BACK to Phi Delt; like tri delta, they are very underrated on campus. honestly, sorority or frat IDGAF about looks. its their personalities that count and theyre really nice and funny and cute, in general.

Very interesting mix of girls in this pledge class... seems quite random and I'm not sure what they were looking for. Not that it's necessarily bad; I think DDD and PiPhi do the whole diversity thing well. Just not sure what the unifying factor is here. Know a lot of nice girls here, but I also know a lot that have a big attitude.

Going in to recruitment I really wanted APhi, but looking back I really dont remember why. Not in a mean way. They seem pretty uninviting in general though, very isolated from the other sororities (by choice). I have heard negative things about how they do their bidding. Nice house, this pledge class seems nice, but that's about it.

I am in a different sorority at Butler, and I love the Thetas. Like any house, some girls are kind of sloppy, but on the whole Thetas are gorgeous, smart, and SWEET. Other than the seniors, they are so nice to everybody and are friends with girls in other sororities. If I wasn't so in love with my own house, I know for sure that I would fit in perfectly at Theta. Ignore these other haters. They are probably just judging the house based on two or three girls.
