by: Potential sororitytyIm thinking about joining a sorority, but i have a serious boyfriend and im afraid joining one will not allow me to see him that much. Do you think that will interfere? And how much do sorority girls have to interact with like frat guys and stuff? I just don't want to put our relationship in jeopardy if i join a sorority because i really want to but at the same time still be in a dedicated relationship

There are plenty of sorority girls in long term relationships. It's honestly all about time management! There are required things that you'll have to go to if you're in a sorority, so your relationship might take a bit more planning but it is definitely doable. You do not have to interact with frat guys if you don't want to although socials with them are a lot of fun. Hope this helps!

Whether or not you are able to see your boyfriend all depends on your time management skills. Our interactions with fraternity men on an "official" level are through socials, but you don't have to go to parties or anything like that in order to have a strong sisterhood. However, interactions with fraternity men are inevitable. Sometimes there are serenades at meetings, philanthropy events that they show up at, etc etc. These events as well as socials are completely platonic situations, so your boyfriend really shouldn't have a problem with them (and if he does, dump him, you don't need that in your life)
