junior sorority rushing

Is it unlikely to have a transfer student that will be a late soph/junior status go through sorority recruitment? I really want to join a sorority but I feel it might be too late.

here no one really cares where you come from or your age. if they like you they will want you in their sorority

I rushed as a junior and had no issues doing so. I thought it would be a big deal but it wasn't!
