sorority comments

When I heard about this site, I was disgusted. Whoever is posting as panhel, however, has the right idea.
Honestly, if we want our greek community to expand, we have to be nice to one another. Not tear each other down. All the sororities are different and all are amazing. There are no "tiers". This site and the posts are very childish.

There is so much malicious and inaccurate content that can be found in comments under each of these orginazations. I would LOVE take this opportunity to point out that the Greek Community at GVSU is about bettering the Grand Valley community and making positive contributions to the surrounding area and our designated philanthropies. To come on to a website a website and try to overshadow the things that ALL of the sororities and fraternities at GVSU do in the community with such vicious comments is a disgrace. Furthermore, the fact that members of other greek organizations are willing to log on here and make such remarks under a "Nickname" that represents their own organization not only makes the individual look bad, but also turns on the fundamentals which our greek organizations pride themselves on. We are supposed to support one another in our philanthropies, events, and other endeavors. To try and hide behind the mask of a website to try and bring other organizations down is petty and immature.

This websites should not exist. Stop posting negative things about each other! You go through recruitment to meet the women you feel most connected to and connected to their ideals and philanthropy. That is it and that is all. We are all family and this shouldn't be a high school popularity contest. Let's stop embarrassing ourselves.

Phi Mu, Delta Zeta, Sigma Kappa are the best on campus hands on. Other sororities are a joke. Just an outsider's perspective from what GDIs see and what I hear from my friends in all sororities and fraternities.

Top tier: (all equal)
PM - pretty and fun, but needs to work on sisterhood
SK - party girls but lacking in looks and class
DZ - cute and nice, but live up to the "easy dz" nickname

Mid tier: (in ranking order)
GPB - kinda rando girls but fun and doing well for being newest
AOII - random and kinda weird but mostly nice and pretty fun
PSS - random...but chill

Bottom: (in ranking order)
ASA - seem ok, don't see them around much
AST - sisterhood problems and weird over all, but the few I know are nice

Tri Sig coming this year

This is so sad to me that people in the Greek community would publicly rank each other like this. How can you classify a chapter of 100 women in a short, 2 sentence comment? The people talking bad about other chapters should be ashamed of themselves. It's tasteless and so rude. I have friends in every chapter on campus and love every single one of them, not because of where they're affiliated or because they're Greek, but because of the people that they are. Maybe if people stopped thinking of stupid comments and tried to get to know one another, opinions on this website would be a little different.
