spring recruitment
by: TransferHey so I'm a 3rd year transfer who wasn't able to participate in formal fall recruitment due to my job. I know at some universities sororities host an informal spring rush to meet quotas. Does anyone know if tech does the same thing and how I could get involved with it?

Usually only a few houses participate in spring recruitment and they usually only take a handful of girls. They probably won't know until winter graduation if they'll be participating. You might be able to talk to the greek life office and ask and let them know you're interested. If there are houses under total, and they decide to spring recruit, just know that your options will be limited.

Some ouses always do informal spring recruitment, but only ones in the bottom four (alpha gam, axo, aphi, and alpha xi). You would need to contact CPC if you're interested. Given that you're really old to be rushing, your options might be limited even within the houses that do spring recruitment. Probably only alpha gam would take you.

There is no spring recruitment. If there had been it would've happened within the first two weeks of spring semester. Wait til fall formal, even if you're an upperclassman you can get a bid, but if you don't, you can try for the new colony.
