is there an upperclassmen quota?

I know a lot of schools have a sophomore/upperclassmen quota for sorority rush. Does tech have this? Is it harder or easier to rush as an upperclassmen?

No, there is no separate upperclassman quota. It is harder as an upperclassman but you can still get a bid. Some houses will cut for that, but most have gotten better with pledging upperclassmen in the last 5 years.

Thanks, so most chapters tend to give bids to upperclassmen but there's no requirement? How many upperclassmen could you expect in a pledge class typically?

It really depends on the chapter. I would probably say ADPi pledges the least upperclassmen and Alpha Xi pledges the most. In a PC of 50, I would probably say 2-5 upperclassmen. Usually more sophomores than juniors. But if you're a junior, you still can get a bid.
