tattoos
by: Northeast GirlLast fall, when I turned 18 I got a small tattoo on my ankle. It has a special meaning for me and I don't plan to get anymore. At the time, I didn't consider it to be a problem because many girls at my school have gotten tattoos (I'm not from Georgia). But, now that I'll be coming to GA Tech and going through recruitment, I'm a little concerned. Atlanta seems to be more conservative than I'm accustomed to - though GA Tech is pretty diverse. Will this be a problem. Should I try to hide it?

Don't try and hide it! You want a chapter, a home, a family, that accepts you for who you are, not who you can pretend to be for recruitment. Of course put your best foot forward, but stay true to yourself and you'll find sisters that are the best fit. Good luck!
