silent period
by: ConfusedOnce silent period starts in May, is it still okay to like actives pictures on social media? Will actives still be allowed to follow you? Sorry if these are stupid questions, I'm just confused with the process! Thanks in advance!

If you are already friends with a girl who is an active member in a sorority here, you can still talk to her and like her social media, it's if you aren't facebook/(other social media) friends with a sorority member before the silencing period is where there's a problem. You'll have to wait to friend those new people who you'll meet (especially as a summer freshman) until after bid day.
However, the girl you're already friends with shouldn't be talking about sorority life. She can answer very general questions but that's it.
