Well, the sororities kinda have types to be honest. In general, they look for your activities, what you're involved in, if you fit with their sisterhood, if you're pretty.
ADPi - generally takes only southern girls, "the southern belles"
Phi Mu - more of the girl next door type, really into intramurals
Alpha Xi - Relaxed, down to earth, big partiers, big into greek week/homecoming
Zeta - fun girls, big partiers, involved with their philanthropy
Alpha Phi - very diverse sisterhood, lots of different types
Alpha Gam - smart, nice girls, a little more on the quiet side
AXO - very driven, career/school focused girls, very interested in your grades and what activities you're involved in

to help you stand out, look cute and put together each day of recruitment and remember that you're selling yourself. It's like a job interview. Be happy and remember that you're a guest in these girls' homes, so, be gracious, even if it's a house you don't ultimately see yourself in.
