psi u and sororities
by: TheoreticallyI know they aren't looking for the same kind of person at all, but would it theoretically be legal for a girl to join psi upsilon and a PHC sorority?

It's kind of hazy on that. I would say probably not because Psi U is still considered social and it not a "special interest" group (i.e. engineering or premed or honors etc). Psi U is not completely co-ed across the country, most chapters are all male, and therefore I believe governed by NIC/IFC. So, it would be like being a part of IFC and CPC together, which I'm pretty sure is a no-go. It's kinda like if you wanted to join a NPC (PHC) chapter and then also join one of the divine nine (NPHC) chapters like AKA. Not really okay.
And also, honestly, if you're the kind of girl who would join Psi U, you're probably not going to be a fit for any of the 7 panhellenic sororities.
Also note, while Alpha Delta Chi and Alpha Omega Epsilon are associate members of panhellenic, they do not hold recruitment during formal recruitment with the 7 full members of panhellenic who are social chapters.
