I'm a USMC veteran starting at GT in the Fall. Do any of the frats have veteran members? I have veteran friends at other schools who have gotten social bids at frats with significant veteran populations.

You will be fine, I rushed with an army guy who did a tour in both Iraq and Afghanistan. He went through pledgeship just fine and was on our exec board for a couple of years. We are routinely ranked in the top 5-7 fraternities too.

If you don't want to rush it makes things harder but really no one gives AF, especially if you served our country, if you want to come out to the hundreds of open invite parties out there go ahead chapter events may be harder.

KS PKA Fiji ATO and KA have all had vets in their chapter according to what I know/heard. Pretty sure KS KA and Fiji all have philanthropies for military heroes project.
