KS/BTP/PKA > Fiji/ATO/SX
The difference between the first 3 and the next 3 is purely how rush usually shakes out and it seems the first 3 do better than the other 3. They are all great groups!
Upper Mid/lower top
TKE/SAE/SN > PDT/ChiPhi/OX
TKE SAE and SN are all really good groups here who honestly are more comparable to the above groups then the 3 others here. These 3 are groups that aren't as good as they used to be (used to be top) but are all really solid. The next 3 are all overall solid groups who are rising quick and are all relevant.
Mid
SPE/KA/DX > DU/AEPi/DTD
These groups are all good groups, they each have events and do things with girls. You'll see why each is different from the above groups but honestly if SigEp could have alcohol at events, they would be on par with the top 3 of upper mid. But they dont, AND they have 0 pledge ship and blanket bid.
Girls:
If you're a girl here you can go to any sorority and have a great time. "Old row" groups (there is no old row but some groups like to claim it), are more traditional and are preferred by certain "old row" fraternities (again no old row, but they want to claim it).

I seem to remember them de-brothering guys who are issues. Fiji on the other hand still has carrot top and has graduated other issues as brothers for the sake of dues.

BTP and KS are not top 3. They're both fun groups with nice houses and girls like them, but they both need to recruit a little better. They are both new to being this good too so lets give them some time.
SX TKE SN and Fiji are all 4 not that good anymore and are beneath the other 5 clearly.
Historically ATO SAE and PKA always have been top and always will be.

Nobody knows what 'old row' means. This is a Bama term that just means the original street on the west side of campus where fraternity houses were originally located vs the next street that houses started building on that was on the east side of campus. So there were actual rows. Now everybody wants to co-opt the term 'Old Row' and say they are in it because it sounds elite but everybody has their own misguided thing in their head about what it means.

Pike SAE SX and ATO are the only ones who claim old row. KS and beta are groups that are older or just as old as everyone else minus ATO and they still don't claim it.
It's for people who try hard to look like an SEC frat when we are an ACC engineering school. Good luck, everyone here is a little too dorky for that. I do mean everyone, whether they admit it or not.
