which fraternity to rush next fall

I'm from the East Coast and will be attending Georgia Tech in the Fall. Fraternities are sort of looked down on where I'm from, but I hear its the only way to have a social life there. I'm urban cool, not sporty. Wealthy, but not showy. I want cool, smart friends. Is there a fraternity with this vibe?

Urban cool but not sporty? Do you mean hipster? Bottom tier. If not then idk what you mean. Wealthy but not showy sounds like BTP KS and PKA. They ar more new money guys who arent showy about it. SAE SX and ATO are old money and showy.

Not hipster, but like I said, fraternities are not big in my area. Crew in high school, not football or basketball. Hazing seems outdated. Just want a group of cool guys to hang out with and party. Get involved in some events and on campus. Preppy plus. No bling.

No one can answer this. You will have time to go to 10-12 houses. Go and visit and see what you think. Go back to the ones you like. Honestly most of the ones in the top 8 are pretty interchangeable.
