AXiDelt, Kappa Sig, ZBT losing their houses?

No one is losing their house. Cite building plans or any articles you can use as evidence. AXiD is the oldest sorority at tech and have been at their location for a very long time. I doubt they would be booted from their house without reimbursement. There are investors and other variables attached to this.

Look up the project details online. It’ll tell you everything you want to know and it’s not what people have been saying on here cause people are dumb as hell

Literally just google “highway overpass park midtown” or something like that it’s not hard I don’t know if it has an official name

Here is what I found out.....The Atlanta Midtown planners have unveiled a major proposed transportation project that will dramatically affect campus and both AZD and ZBT chapter houses. The Midtown Connector Transportation Improvement Project (MCTIP) proposed a major revamp of the interstate corridor from 17th Street to below North Avenue to provide more connections across the corridor from Georgia Tech to Midtown and to improve traffic flow in general. This project would cap the interstate over much of Midtown. The one component would extend 6th Street from Midtown to campus using a path that would go right through where the Alpha Xi Delta house is, curve to the north, then curve back to join the campus Sixth Street which will take most of the front yard and part of the ZBT house.

So it isn't agreed to yet. Georgia tech and the city of atlanta would have to pay AZD and ZBT for demolishing their House or they would need to help them build another.

Correct. The project still needs to be approved and compensation for both houses/properties would need to be in an agreement with both parties. This could work in both AZD and ZBT favor (money wise) since their current houses are deemed as prime real estate by the city of Atlanta. The problem would be how soon would this project start and where on East Campus can both groups build their new houses?

Why would Alpha Xi lose their house? I haven't heard about that at all.
